All you need to do to get started is to create an account and then drop us an email (link above) to let us know what email address you signed up with and we will get you setup on the system as a tournament organiser.
How Much Does It Cost?
Right now, and for the foreseeable future, MTGEvents is totally free to use. Hosting the site does cost money though, and everyone knows that Russ loves to draft, so we may add premium pricing for advanced features in the future sometime - but this is a hobby project so our charges will be very small. We anticipate that for small events (casual, FNM etc.) the cost will either be zero or perhaps a tiny charge for those who do hundreds of events per year. For larger events we anticipate always charging less than the regular entry fee for a single player (probably much less) and we suspect the publicity from the site and our future features will be worth a lot more than that to you - plus plugging your events on MTGevents will probably bring in additional players to weekend events!
Log in, from your TO menu, click "your details" and fill in all your details including paypal details. Next select list venues, click create venue, add the details of your venue, save. Next up select list events, add event, then fill in all the details of your event. Then when you're ready send your event live...
